Did you get to see his speech? I thought it was wonderful! Not to discount John McCain, I thought his concession speech was very well handled as well.

The Democrats are back in control.  WOO HOO   YAY US!

Ok, so Obama won.  I sure in the hell don't want to hear from anyone complaining about their taxes going up, us NOT pulling out of Iraq like he said, and all those promises he isn't going to keep.  Also let's hope this democrat can keep his pants zipped!  Sour grapes on my end Nope, whoever won, won, but I see well past that, and know how this governmemt works, the little people, you and I, always get screwed.  I asked myself this question the other day, why do all the big money people, ie, Hollywood and other always vote democrat....I wonder if it has something to do with protecting their money.

I will pray for this country as always for the next 4 years.

I'm thankful that we finally have a president who is aligned with high ideals.  Iti s what's in his heart, not the color of his skin, that makes me so hopeful today.  We all must step away from our insular thinking for many of the changes that must be made require a global consciousness.  We are all one and what happens to my brother happens to me too.  The task is daunting but if we all pull together then history will truly be made.
